Bruce Caruth Business Career

by admin

The individuals who currently own sub-franchise rights to Exit Realty for Kansas, Washington, Oregon and Missouri are Bruce Caruth and his wife. They only joined Exit Realty back in 2003, which means that they did not have much manpower. In fact, there were only a few thousand real estate agents back then. This also led to having only less than fifty percent of the regional rights sold.

Bruce Caruth shares that other people might have taken a more careful or cautious approach with their ventures. But he asserts that he, and his wife, Joanne Caruth, are not one of those cautious ones because they truly knew that Exit Realty’s business model guarantees productivity the most within the country, with benefits aimed at both the franchisee and the agent.

Bruce Caruth surely knows what he is doing. In fact, he was the Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. After graduating, he joined Price Waterhouse where he spent ten years of his life mastering audit engagements and consulting work for numerous corporations under Fortune 500. Having such vast experience in business, Bruce Caruth can then tell whether a corporation is a sound investment or not.

Mr Caruth even shares that he immediately knew that Exit Realty would dominate the real estate industry someday. And with a business consulting career such as the one he has, Bruce Caruth certainly knows what he is saying.

Byron Rainer: The Value of Education

by admin

Byron Rainer understands the value of education, and especially, formal education. For one, it is through education that one is able to gain a knowledge and understanding of the world at large. As banal as it sounds, knowledge is power especially within the context of the evolving global economy that is becoming ever more knowledge-driven. For another, it is only by formal education that one is able to develop a trade which becomes the basis of one’s source of livelihood. It opens doors and enables one to advance in one’s chosen career.

Using this as a compass with which to steer his own life’s direction, Byron Rainer graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English and Business from the University of Florida. Through his formal education, he was able to work for such prominent companies, such as International Business Machines Corporation from 1987 to 1991, Bankers Life and Casualty Company from 1992 to 1995, and Prudential Financial, Inc. from 1996-1999. O. Turner & Company, LLC, a limited liability company, hired him and it has been his professional base since 2000.

Because Byron Rainer wants to give others the same opportunities he enjoys as a white collar professional, he works as a volunteer for Education Advantage Foundation. Education Advantage Foundation is a non-profit organization which was founded on the belief that expanding opportunities for the youth through academic enrichment is a necessity. It has offices in Florida and in Washington, D.C. and is composed of committed education professionals, parents and corporate leaders like Byron Rainer.

Cavalry Officer Seth Lesser

by admin

Seth Lesser (March 15, 1838 – August 28, 1862, Manassas, Virginia) was a cavalry officer for the Union Army during the American Civil War.

Two years prior to the American Civil War, Lesser was a cadet at the West Point Academy. Seth Lesser graduated at the bottom of his class and was sent to an outpost in Texas as a lieutenant for the mounted cavalry stationed in Hutchinson County. He was pulled out from the garrison a few weeks after the Civil War broke out in 1861.

That same year, on the 21st of July, Lesser saw service at the First Battle of Bull Run – considered the first major battle of the Civil War – in Manassas, Virginia where he served under the command of Brig. Gen. Irvin McDowell. Although the Union Army sustained a massive loss during the battle, Seth Lesser was promoted to brevet colonel because of his bravery. He was later ordered to work for Major General George B. McClellan as staff officer.

Seth Lesser again fought at the Second Battle of Bull Run against the Army of the Northern Virginia led by Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee’s. On August 27, 1862, he was mortally wounded when Confederate Maj. Gen. Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson’s forces made a surprise attack at the Union Army’s supply depot at Manassas Junction. Lesser, who was shot near the heart during the attack, died the following day.

Marty Carrascosa Likes to Attend Tattoo Conventions

by admin

Marty Carrascosa is a tattoo buff. He likes attending tattoo conventions for doing so gives him the chance to interact with fellow tattoo buffs and tattoo artists alike. Tattoos have gained popularity in recent years; still tattooed people are in the minority. Thus, his tattoos still draw uninvited attention from critics or plain gawkers alike in an everyday setting.

Attending tattoo conventions, therefore, affords Marty Carrascosa the chance to be with people with whom he feels a sense of belongingness. Renowned artists from afar gather under one roof during these occasions, to either talk about or to practice their art on attendees who come specifically for such purpose. It is also understood that tattoo buffs participate in conventions to see and be seen: it is a chance for them to display and check out each other’s tattoos.

There are also larger conventions Marty Carrascosa had attended where seminars are part of the agenda. Though they are mostly designed for tattoo artists to talk about the art of tattoos, including the state-of-the-art in tattoos, and safety practices, such conventions are generally venues for knowledge sharing between artists and enthusiasts.

For Marty Carrascosa, self-expression is an important facet of his being and he has found the means to do so through his tattoos, which he wears proudly. His tattoos are his stamp of individuality.

by admin

Omar MMubango works full-time as a pharmaceutical executive, has his own small business, and still has all the time in the world to engage himself in his charitable causes.

He has his own nonprofit organization the Trans Africa New Initiatives Corporation (TANIC), which he treats like as if it gives him a whole lot of monetary reward. Omar MMubango utilizes his expertise, which he has acquired through intensive research and pursuit of different degrees in different universities, to champion the causes that he holds dear to him.

It is mainly through TANIC that he is given the chance to lead the implementation of recycling, clean drinking water, pollution control and general cleaning of neighborhoods. He acts as the community’s advocate, making the community’s voice heard, and action is implemented to remedy the awful situation right away.

Omar MMubango believes that his greatest achievement, by far, is the opportunity he was given to serve his community at home, and the needy abroad, also through TANIC.

It does not really matter how Mr MMubango makes use of his time, whether he is locked up in his laboratory being his Regulatory Affairs research scientist self, or is strict in establishing rules, ensuring public safety with the pharmaceuticals in the market. All through these, it is then obvious that Omar MMubango is a man who has dedicated his life to the service of others.

Honoring a Brooklyn Bridge Engineer named Seth Lesser

by admin

Seth Lesser was born on November 11, 1850 in Buffalo, New York. Seth was involved in the building of the Brooklyn Bridge as an engineer. It  was envisioned to connect Brooklyn to Manhattan. While helping build the Brooklyn Bridge. Caisson disease, Seth Lesser died of “caisson disease,” known today as “decompression sickness.” It hits construction workers who work underwater, among others. It happens when a person, after having been in the compressed environment of the caisson, immediately reenters normal atmospheric conditions. The Chief Engineer of the project and son of the designer of the bridge, Washington Roebling, was another fatality of caisson disease. His name is etched on the bridge.

To honor the families of those who died the same way as Mr. Roebling did, such as Seth Lesser, a fund was established by the former’s vfriends and family. With both his colleagues and his superiors, he was a well-liked man. Emily Warren Roebling, credited for continuing the project, knew Mr. Lesser’s wife personally, though Mr. Lesser and Mr. Roebling did not have the privilege of working together,

In the afternoon of May 25, 1884, one day after the inauguration of the Brooklyn Bridge, a plaque honoring Seth Lesser, was personally handed to Marceline Lesser, his widow, by Mrs. Roebling. In attendance were their three children, Seth, Jr., James and Thomas.
