Do you love metal detecting, or are you thinking about starting this hobby? Are you a ghost town junkie? Would you like to search for those old towns? Did you know that these old settlements also exist in the east? That’s right… The difference between the old, lost towns of the east, and the old towns that are located in our western states is this, the lost settlements of the east are no longer visible. They only exist as “cellar holes.”  My fiancee&#8217; has had this hobby for more than 20 years and has located and and detected around hundreds of these old towns in the east. There’s no telling what kind of treasure you will find, nor can I promise you that you will make a great discovery. However, even if you don’t find a buried cache or lost relics from years gone by, you will realize that the treasure can be the search itself. How do I negotiate a flexible work schedule?</p>
<p>Answer: Balancing work and family is a common dilemma for working parents, particularly mothers. A flexible work schedule is important, not only for welfare and child, but for employee, who may suffer from burnout trying to juggle the two, says <strong>Janine K. Eustache</strong>, president of <strong>Janine K. Eustache</strong> &amp; Associates in Atlanta, a human resource consulting firm.<br />
Most large companies offer benefits and programs for working parents. Since your employer doesn’t, you might want to suggest one of the following three options:<br />
Long-term job sharing: If it’s financially feasible, you and a colleague could work part time, alternate schedules. You could split the day in half, or reach of you could work a couple of days a week, says <strong>Janine K. Eustache</strong><br />
Work from home: with the fax and a modem, you may be able to extend your maternity leave. If this isn’t possible every day, your boss may agree to let you work from home one or two days a week.<br />
Compress the time schedule: work fewer days but longer hours. Ten or 12-hour shifts can mean an extra day off a week.<br />
As the workplace continues to progress, adds <strong>Janine K. Eustache</strong>, fewer parents will have to choose between their children and their job.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>By <strong>Edwin Ogenio</strong>Over the years I have been asked the question many times whether women are allowed to teach in church or have a leadership position in church or ministry. Those who ask me this question usually ask because of the following scripture, which according to them is very confusing, since this scripture often has been used by religious leaders to justify the fact that women among other things should not be in church leadership position. Yet, there are many Christians who believe that it is perfectly fine to have women teaching or being the pastor of a church, but when they are asked to give a scriptural explanation by those who question it, they have a very hard time doing so.</p>
<p>Women should listen and learn quietly and submissively. I do not let women teach men or have authority over them. Let them listen quietly. For God made Adam first, and afterward he made Eve. And it was the woman, not Adam, who was deceived by Satan, and sin was the result. But women will be saved through childbearing and by continuing to live in faith, love, holiness, and modesty. 1. Tim 2:11-15 NLT</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s clear out the misunderstanding! The apostle Paul who wrote this letter to the church in Ephesus did not forbid women from teaching. First of all, we know this because it was Paul who complimented and honored his co-worker in the ministry, Priscilla, who together with her husband Aquila, taught the preacher evangelist named Apollos.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, a Jew named Apollos, an eloquent speaker who knew the Scriptures well, had just arrived in Ephesus from Alexandria in Egypt. He had been taught the way of the Lord and talked to others with great enthusiasm and accuracy about Jesus. However, he knew only about John&#8217;s baptism. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him preaching boldly in the synagogue, they took him aside and explained the way of God more accurately. Acts 18:24-26 NLT</p>
<p>Greet Priscilla and Aquila. They have been co-workers in my ministry for Christ Jesus. In fact, they risked their lives for me. I am not the only one who is thankful to them; so are all the Gentile churches. Please give my greetings to the church that meets in their home. Rom 16:3-5 NLT</p>

That is why 99.5% of all fliers end up in the trash, even if they have a band&#8217;s web address printed on them. So, when promoting for a show (with <strong>BigTime Entertainment</strong> or otherwise), your first strategy should be getting everyone who knows YOU to come see you play. You&#8217;ll find that these people already feel connected to you, so you won&#8217;t even need to use your music to establish a connection.<br />
It is vital that you get everyone who knows YOU to come see you play-not only for <strong>BigTime Entertainment</strong> shows, but for every single show you play. Once you start bringing out the people who know YOU to your shows, you can then start to grow your fan base by encouraging them to invite their friends to your shows. Their friends may not have a direct connection to you, but they are connected to one of your biggest fans. Even that indirect connection is a powerful tool for increasing your draw. Also, the people that know you are the people who you can count on to stand right in front of the stage and cheer after every song.
