Eric Youn Report – Assignment #6

by admin

As a professional social worker, Eric Youn is doing something very important for society, and that is to ensure that the youth are given a fair chance in life. Eric hasn’t just worked for different organizations and programs; Eric even volunteers his expertise in order to achieve his goal helping the youth. This just shows the passion and dedication that Eric Youn has for his job; and the love Mr Youn has for the community as a whole.

Perhaps one of his most valuable contributions is the C-Corps program which is basically a learning program for the youth who are having trouble with their public school education. The program teaches these kids web design and computer use. At the same time, the program encourages its participants to spread out and do the same for others. The C-Corps program, under the management of Eric Youn, won the Best Bridge over the Digital Divide award from the Austin Chronicle in Austin, Texas.

Eric Youn was also an active volunteer for The Arrow Project. Here, Eric was able to help several children find foster homes and was also able to provide proper home schooling programs. Today, Mr Youn lives in Hawai’i and works for the University of Hawai’i School of Social Work located in Manoa. Eric is also a volunteer for the Hawai’i Children’s Cancer Foundation.
