Douglas Colt: When Lawyers Blog

Douglas Colt is a highly respected lawyer. He’s a Senior Litigation Associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges in Redwood Shores, CA.

So what does someone like Douglas Colt write about when he blogs? Surprisingly enough, you won’t find much legal discussion going on at http://dougcolt.blogspot.com/.

Instead, you’ll find Douglas Colt’s musings on every day life, most of which involve two year old daughter, Ainsley, who is without, the real star of Doug Colt’s blog. You’ll also read about some  of the things that make Douglas Colt’s day, whether its bottled bacon, good customer service, or a great view of his backyard.

Perhaps the only posts that have any reference to his career are several entries involving different incarnations of the Nigerian –email scam. Douglas Colt seems bewildered that anyone still falls for one of the oldest scams on the Internet and seems to take some pleasure in baiting the scammers from time to time. Every one needs a past time.

Incidentally, Douglas Colt’s areas of practice include Trademark, False Advertising, Copyright, Unfair Competition, Trade Secret, and Commercial Litigation
